Coza e descasque-os, aproveitando a água de todos eles. Não se esqueça de deixar alguns camarões inteiros para decoração final. Em seguida coloque duas chávenas de àgua (para cada chávena de arroz coloque duas de àgua) e também uma colher de chá de sal. Deixe cozer durante cerca de 12 minutos. Para o arroz não ficar em papa, não o mexa enquanto ele estiver a cozer.
